The Shelter Kicks Off This Saturday

This Saturday marks the launch of CBCMV's new Saturday night worship service aimed at the younger generation in Moreno Valley and the surrounding areas. We're calling this service The Shelter, and our mission is "to be a safe place to gather together and seek refuge in Christ, encourage one another to be all God created us to be, and reach out to those trapped in an impersonal world." Lead Pastor Paul Cunningham says, "The Shelter has grown out of a long journey towards healing and restoration in my life, and I want to help others come to realize their high value in Jesus that transcends abuse, pain and the horrible mistakes we have all made.”
The Shelter begins this Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 PM with a kick-off concert from Sixteen Cities, and a message from Tyler Bianco. Chick-fil-a will be on site with delicious sandwiches and beverages after the service, and the new Shelter coffee cart will be loaded with quality java for those who want to hang around afterward to discuss this new ministry.
